Joann Gardner has written and published a variety of articles, interviews and book reviews, many having to do with poetry and cultural history. The following are samples of her prose publications:
Book: W. B. Yeats and the Rhymers' Club: a Nineties' Perspective. New York: Peter Lang, 1989.
A survey of Yeats' early work as a member of the Rhymers' Club, what he took from his fellow Rhymers and how he was able to move beyond their self-destructiveness.
